Window Size Measurements

SMI recommends window size measurements for INSIDE MOUNT ONLY

INSIDE MOUNT

1. Measure window depth for louver clearance
2. Measure inside WIDTH in three places (top, middle, bottom) record the smallest measurement
3. Measure inside HEIGHT in three places (left, middle, right), record the smallest measurement
4. Check for square by measuring on the diagonal. If diagonals differ by more than 1/2" SMI recommends recording a smaller measurement. Call your customer service representative for help.

Framed Openings: SMI will build unit 1/4" less than recorded measurements for width and height
Unframed Openings: SMI will build unit 3/16" less than recorded measurement for width and height
