ODF Measurements

SMI recommends ODF measurements for OUTSIDE MOUNT SHUTTERS

INSIDE MOUNT

1. Measure window depth for louver clearance
2. Measure window width and height in several places
3. Determine deductions required for best fit. This is especially important if diagonals are 1/2" or more different.

Framed Openings: SMI will build framed unit to exact measurements provided
Unframed Openings: NA - see "Net Panel Size Measurements"

OUTSIDE MOUNT

1. Determine location where frame will be mounted
2. Determine if standard frame depth will allow for louver clearance
3. Provide measurements to outside of frame for width and height
